You might think that I’m trying to speak in metaphoric terms but I literally went searching for magnolia trees last weekend in downtown Charlottetown.  My friend Miss Anita Marie Photography invited me to tag along on her mission to find the perfect blooming tree to photograph.

Of course, I was thrilled because magnolia trees are absolutely stunning and beautiful and of course, extremely romantic! We drove around Charlottetown and found some gorgeous trees and this picture was taken by my talented friend (see below).

I thought about the magnolia trees all week and how “bridal” they are and how I wish that one of my couples getting married could have these beautiful trees in their pictures! It also got me thinking about how  many stunning PEI backdrops for Your PEI Wedding ceremony  there are – and how virtually everywhere on PEI, we can find a beautiful space to capture the love for your forever wedding vows and photos. We sure are lucky to be living in such a magnificent and picturesque province! Do you have a perfect spot in mind for Your PEI Wedding ceremony? Somewhere magical?  Although, every space can be made magical with the people you love surrounding you on your special day, there is something extra special about having the perfect space to declare your love and commitment to each other.  This week, for me, it would be definitely under a magnolia tree.

I probably shouldn’t mention how we may have trespassed into someone’s yard to get the perfect shot of a pink magnolia… your tree is beautiful Mr. Euston Street (and thank you)!
